Severe thunder squall near Mizoram-Myanmar border damages 362 houses

Severe thunderstorm, accompanied by massive hailstorm and squall, have damaged atleast 362 houses in Ratu village near Mizoram-Myanmar border.

At least 12 houses have been completely damaged by the squall, the Business Standard has written quoting Officials of the Aizawl district deputy commissioner's office as saying.

Hailstones as big as the size of eggs hit the area.

At least 70 people have been still missing following a landslide in a jade mining area in Phakant, Myanmar.
