Somalia flood death toll rises to 17, displaces 370,000

November 6, 2019: The death toll from recent flooding in Somalia has risen to 17 people with more than 370,000 people being displaced.

According to the United Nations Children Agency, at least 200,000 children are among the people affected by flooding in Somalia.
