Flooding in Somalia kills 10, displaces 270,000

November 1, 2019: Recent flooding in Somalia has claimed lives of 10 people and displaced more than 270,000, the United Nations said.

A boat capsized and claimed lives of 10 people when a river overflowed in Beledweyne town of central Somalia.

Rain and floods are forecast to continue for November.
