Severe storm kills 7 in latest China natural disaster

Severe storm in China's Sichuan Province has claimed lives of at least seven people and injured 37 others.

Twenty of the injured people have been hospitalized.

The gales, with the maximum speed of 38.5 meters per second, hit Wusheng County, Guang'an City, Xinhua reported.

This latest natural disaster in China caused direct economic losses of about 120 million damaging houses, affecting traffic, power supply and communication.
