Tsunami is predicted to hit Russia’s Far East this year, Ria Novosti reported quoting the Emergencies Ministry.
Major earthquake is expected to hit off the southwestern coast of Sakhalin Island creating the Tsunami.
Russia's Tsunami predictions 2014 have been done north of the epicenter of a 2007 quake, the emergency ministry added.
However, the exact time is unknown and it's effect isn't clear.
