Storms batter Spain, two children seriously injured, one missing

Strong storms and high tides swept Spain on Saturday, seriously injuring two children and leaving at least one person missing.

Winds of at least 110 km/hr hit the country leaving two children injured in Murcia, Think Spain reported. They are having treatment at the Virgen de la Arrixaca hospital in Murcia city.
 
A fisherman has been missing from the coast of Balieiros beach in Ribeira. Coastguard rescuers are searching the missing person.

More than 500 lightning strikes have been recorded in Galicia. 

Around 96 calls were received by Emergency services in just two hours in Madrid.
