M 6.2 Taiwan earthquake today kills 2

M 6.2 very strong earthquake shakes Taiwan today, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake's epicenter was located 22 km SSE of Buli. It was 12.4 miles deep.

Taiwan earthquake today has killed two people and injured at least 21 others, CTV News reported.

Following Taiwan Fire Agency, rockslide from Mountain Ali killed a man whereas another died in rockslide in Chushan.

Tremors were severely felt in the central and southern regions of Taiwan.

Yesterday magnitude 5.6 earthquake in North Cotabato province of Philippines injured at least 33 people and damaged more than 140 houses.

The 1935 Hsinchu-Taichung earthquake is the deadliest earthquake in Taiwan. Earthquake claimed 3,276 lives.
