Multiple moderate earthquakes have shaken Southern California today, the U.S. Geological Survey reported. Epicenter close to Anza.

Earthquakes have occured along the San Jacinto fault between the San Andreas and the Elsinore faults. Note that this fault is famous for big earthquakes. It is estimated that Elsinore Fault Zone is capable of producing a quake of 6.5–7.5 MW.
It is the largest temblor to hit the Los Angeles region in three years.

Metro (Los Angeles) updates through twitter that (@metrolosangeles), All Metro Rail lines continue normal operations thru today's #earthquake. All systems working properly + no reported damage or injuries.

Earthquake has stopped now. Still Anza and Southern California are trending on Twitter. Lastly magnitude 5.2 earthquake hit Anza in June 12, 2005.

Following USGS PAGER MAP, light shaking of MMI IV will have felt by the people of Vista Santa Rosa and Oasis. People of Aguanga, Thermal, La Quinta, Desert Shores, Moreno Valley, San Bernardino, San Diego, Riverside and Fontana will have felt weak shaking of MMI III.

USGS has recorded three earthquakes with magnitude around 5.0 within two minutes! Epicenter is close to Anza.
M 5.2 moderate earthquake shakes Southern California today, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake's epicenter was 19 km ESE from Anza, CA and 25 km SW from La Quinta.
