Recent Natural Disasters

• Bushfires in Victoria, Australia
  -One killed in Victoria bushfire.  A body was found near the small town of Seaton, about 200 km east of Melbourne in Victoria state.
  -Fired destroyed 5 homes and burned 45,000 hectares so far near Seaton. Two other houses were destroyed in a fire in southern New South Wales' Bega Valley.
  -Licola Road is currently closed and the fire is making its way towards Mount Useful and The Springs.
  -More than 100 fires are still blazing across New South Wales.
  -Wildfire in Tasmania, Australia killed one in the beginning of 2013 (Photo: abc.net.au).

• M 2.9 minor weak earthquake in England, United Kingdom (@ 12 km depth) with epicenter located 3 km WNW of Coalville. It will have well felt by the people of Ashby de la Zouch, Shepshed, Swadlincote, Broxtowe, Derby, Leicester, Loughborough, Nottingham and Redditch.   -More than 50 mudslide disaster incident reported across North Carolina. Mudslides were reported in Cherokee, Clay, Graham,  Haywood, Jackson, Macon and Swain.
  -A mudslide on Monticello Road closed the road near Riverside Drive.
• Avalanche in New Hampshire, USA
  -At least three injured in avalanche at Tuckerman Ravine in North Conway, N.H.
  -Injured people are having treatment at Androscoggin Valley Hospital.
  -The Mount Washington Avalanche Center had issued an avalanche advisory for Tuckerman Ravine on Thursday.
  
• Light rainfall and hailstorm hit New Delhi, India.
