M3.5 earthquake rattles Midland, Texas

September 7, 2021: A light earthquake of magnitude 3.5 has been recorded in Midland, Texas today.

According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the epicenter was located 16 km NNW of Midland, Texas. The earthquake occurred at 72 km depth.

The tremor was felt by the people of Midland, Stanton, Gardendale and Odessa.
