3.2 magnitude earthquake rattles Taunton, Somerset

December 5, 2019: An earthquake of magnitude 3.2 has been recorded in Somerset today at 22:45 pm.

According to the British Geological Survey (BGS), the  earthquake's epicentre was close to the village of Huntworth, Somerset.

Tremor was felt in Bridgewater, Taunton, Yeovil and Cheddar.

No preliminary damage or injuries have been reported.
