Two injured as Yeti Airlines aircraft skids off due to slippery runway caused by heavy rainfall

July 12, 2019: An aircraft of Yeti Airlines skidded off due to the slippery runway caused by the heavy rainfall at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu.

According to the Yeti Airlines, the flight number NYT-422 (9N-AMM) coming from Nepalgunj skids of the runway at Kathmandu Airport at 11:05 am.

At least two people have been injured in the incident, The Annapurna Post reported.

There has been continuous rainfall in the Kathmandu Valley since Thursday evening.
