Magnitude 4.6 earthquake rattles Kathmandu Valley, epicenter in Bhaktapur

July 6, 2019: Nepal Seismological Center has recorded magnitude 4.6 earthquake inside Kathmandu Valley with epicenter in Bhaktapur.

The earthquake occurred at 04:15 pm Saturday afternoon.

The epicenter was located near Bhajya Pukhu, north of Bhaktapur Multiple Campus. No damage or injury has been reported.

According to the Nepal Seismological Center, this is an aftershock of 2015 Gorkha earthquake.
