Earthquake felt in Sylvan Lake and Red Deer, Canada

March 4, 2019: Earthquakes Canada has detected seismic activity near Sylvan Lake and Red Deer, Canada today.

Residents of Sylvan Lake and Red Dee woke up due to earthquake at 5:55 a.m. Monday morning.

Tremor was felt across Central Alberta, with many communities experiencing a power outage.

The last earthquake reported by Earthquake Canada was in Salmon Arm, B.C on March 2. The tremor was felt from Sicamous to Tappen.
