Following the recent earthquakes in Ghana, President Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has put the National Security and the Ministry of the Interior on alert for a possible earthquake as tremors increase.

The two agencies have been asked to prepare for a national earthquake emergency plan with the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) as the coordinating agency that will minimize its impact if it occurs.

Within three months, at least two major earth tremors in the capital city Accra, Africa Feeds reported.
