    -The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for the Redland and Logan areas of Brisbane, Australia.
    -Strong winds and large hailstones are set to hit south of Brisbane.

  • M 3.7 light earthquake in Assam, India (@ 33 km depth) with epicenter located 33 km SW of Bokākhāt. Weak tremor will have been felt by the people of Itanagar.

  • M 6.2 strong but harmless earthquake in New Zealand (@ 382 km depth) with epicenter located 120 km WNW of L'Esperance Rock. The residential areas are far from epicenter.

  • M 4.6 moderate earthquake in Central Iran (@ 2 km depth) with epicenter located 103 km N of Bāfq. Weak tremor will have been felt as far as Kermān.

  • Flash flood in East Java, Indonesia
    -Flash flood in Situbondo district, East Java destroyed houses Sunday morning after Silowogo river overflew following the heavy rain.

  • Cyclone Stan in Australia
    -Tropical Cyclone Stan, which dumped heavy rain on inland parts of Western Australia, is rapidly heading towards Southern part.

Kathmandu earthquake 2020: M5.3 earthquake shakes Nepal and India

May 12, 20202: Magnitude 5.3 moderate earthquake has been recorded in Dolakha, Nepal today with tremor even felt in several areas of Bihar, India at 11:53 pm local time.
According to the Nepal's National Seismological Center, the earthquake's epicenter was located around Jugu area of Dolakha district along Jiri-Khadichaur Highway. The earthquake occurred at 10 km depth.
People of Kathmandu valley reported of light to weak shaking of MMI III-IV. The tremor was felt as far as Hetauda and Birgunj. 
People from several areas of Bihar, Indian also reported about a jolt felt at the same time. Most of the earthquake felt reports were received from Patna and Muzaffarpur.
No preliminary damage or injuries have been reported.
According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the seismicity in the Himalaya dominantly results from the continental collision of the India and Eurasia plates. Magnitude 7.8 earthquake in Nepal in 2015 killed nearly 9,000 people.

Bhaktapur Earthquake: Magnitude 3.4 earthquake rattles Kathmandu Valley

May 21, 2020: An earthquake of magnitude 3.4 has been recorded in Bhaktapur today at 8:14 am local time, the Nepal's National Seismological Center confirmed.
According to the Seismological Center, the epicenter was located around Anantalingeshwar, Bhaktapur. The tremor well felt across Kathmandu valley and adjoining areas.
No preliminary damage or injuries have been reported.
This is the second earthquake felt in Nepal today. Magnitude 3.0 earthquake was recorded around Uku area of Darchula today at 2:41 am local time.

A: A large asteroid is poised to fly by Earth at that time. Asteroid (52768) 1998 OR2 will make a close approach to Earth on April 29, 2020. 
The news is, the earth will be destroyed on April 29, 2020. It is said to be the end of the world. It's totally fake. And don't worry, it won't even come close to hitting us causing any natural calamities. NASA hasn't announced any asteroid hitting Earth.
According to the Space, Asteroid 1998 OR2, which orbits the sun in between the orbits of Earth and Mars, won't fly by Earth again until May 18, 2031.
