Nepal earthquake aftershock today May 27, 2015

A massive earthquake of magnitude 7.9 rattled Nepal on April 25, 2015. The earthquake, which struck at 11:56 am on Saturday, has already claimed lives of more than 8,000 people, injured thousands and made millions homeless.

At least three aftershocks hit Nepal within less than two hours on Wednesday.

Magnitude 4.2 aftershock was recorded in Dolakha at 12:03 pm.  At 01:15 pm, magnitude 4.5 aftershock rattled Sindhupalchowk. It was followed by magnitude 4.6 aftershock a minute later in the same region.

The epicenter of latest earthquake lies in Ichok area. Tremor was well felt in Kathmandu valley, Bharatpur and adjoining areas.
