Landslide in Assam, India kills 2

A landslide in Assam's Hailakandi district of India has claimed life of two labourers and injured one other.

Injured people is having treatment at Silchar Medical College and Hospital.

The dead have been identified as Kamrul Islam Mazumdar and Abdul Gafur Mazumdar, Zee News has reported quoting local police.

Worst floods in Assam since 1998 had claimed lives of atleast nine people in Guwahati in June last year. NASA has recently released a photo of the gigantic landslide in Northern India as seen from the space.
