Bududa landslide in Uganda kills 1, injures 17

Flooding and landslide in Bududa, Uganda have claimed life of a four-year-old child and injured seventeen others, local medias reported.

According to New Vision Uganda, injured people are having treatment at Bududa Hospital.

River Manafwa burst its banks and caused flooding in the nearby areas. Bukigai- Nalwanza bridge has been swept away.

Widespread hail damage has been reported.

Bududa landslide in Uganda in 2010 had claimed lives of at least 100 people.
