Hurricane Cosme in Mexico claims 2 lives

Hurricane Cosme in Mexico has claimed lives of at least two people, The Voice Of Russia reported.

A gust of wind and strong Ocean wave hit a boat killing a tourist, Guerrero authorities said.

In another incident, a police officer died along Mexico City-Acapulco road.

At least 19 people are reported to be injured in the tragedy.

On June 24, Cosme developed into a Category 1 hurricane. Meteorologists at the Servicio Meteorológico Nacional has expected a "moderate" hazard risk along southern Mexican coastline.

Hurricane Barbara in Mexico in May 2013 claimed lives of at least six people. Hurricane damage was between  $750,000 to $1 million.
