Flash flood hits Alor Star, Malaysia

Flash flood has hit Alor Star, the Kedah province of Malaysia with worst in Taman Uda, Taman Ambar and Taman Muhibbah area.

Around 1,000 residents have been affected by recent Malaysian flood, The New Straits Times Press (Malaysia) reported.

Monsoon floods and flash floods are the most severe climate-related natural disasters in Malaysia.
