New round of tornadoes in Oklahoma and Arkansas injure 9

At least two tornadoes touched down in Oklahoma Thursday, Meteorologists in Oklahoma confirmed.

Tornado touched the ground near the town of Perkins in northeast Oklahoma whereas a second tornado touched near Ripley.

Following Oklahoman Emergency Management officials, no injuries were reported in Oklahoma.

Two more tornadoes hit Arkansas on Thursday injuring nine people. At least two were injured by lightning strike in Rogers.

Following National Weather Service's Storm Prediction Center, tornado warnings were issued in parts of northern Oklahoma including oil hub Cushing which is home to over 65 million barrels of crude oil storage.

Two weeks ago, EF-5 tornado in Moore, Oklahoma claimed several lives.
