Magnitude 4.4 light earthquake shakes Medford today, the U.S. Geological Survey reported. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake's epicenter was located 18 km SW of Medford. It was 3.9 miles deep.

Oklahoma earthquake today measured 4.0 in magnitude

M 4.0 light earthquake hits Oklahoma today, the U.S. Geological Survey reported. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake's epicenter was located 5 km SSW of Guthrie. It was 6.2 miles deep. Following USGS Pager Map, light shaking of MMI IV will have been felt by the people of Guthrie and Crescent. People of Langston, Piedmont, Edmond, Luther, Midwest City, Oklahoma City and Norman will have been felt weak shaking of MMI III. Similarly, slight tremor will have been experienced by the people of Moore and Tulsa as well.

Earthquake in Enid, Oklahoma

M 4.1 light earthquake shakes Enid, Oklahoma today, the U.S. Geological Survey reported. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake's epicenter was located 2 km SE of Medford and 46 km NNE of Enid, Oklahoma. It was 2.3 miles deep.

Wichita KS earthquake shakes Oklahoma, Arkansas

M 4.8 strong earthquake shakes parts of Kansas, Oklahoma and Arkansas today, the U.S. Geological Survey reported. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the epicenter of Wichita KS earthquake today was located 13 km S of Conway Springs. It was 1.8 miles deep.

Oklahoma earthquake: 4.5 temblor recorded near Edmond

M 4.5 moderate earthquake shakes Oklahoma today, the U.S. Geological Survey reported. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake's epicenter was located 11 km ENE of Edmond. It was 3.1 miles deep. Following USGS Pager Map, light shaking of MMI IV will have felt by the people of Edmond, Jones, Luther, Spencer, Nicoma Park, The Village, Oklahoma City and Moore. Similarly people of Norman, Tulsa and Lawton will have felt weak shaking of MMI III. Karen Seikel, one of our reader from Edmond, said there was rumbling sound like a large truck was next to the house and the whole house started shaking but no significant damages were observed. According to the Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management, no injuries or damages have been reported. Update 2013/06/02 -Death toll from tornadoes in US Midwest has risen to 12. According to Oklahoma Medical Examiner's Office, nine fatalities are from Oklahoma and three from Missouri. -Flood cleanup process in Oklahoma has also been hampered. New round of tornadoes in Oklahoma and Arkansas injure 9

Update Tornado emergency has been in Oklahoma City. Two, a mother and a child died when storm overturned a car on an interstate highway, USA Today reported. Click here for detail report on OKC tornado . At least two tornadoes touched down in Oklahoma Thursday, Meteorologists in Oklahoma confirmed. Tornado touched the ground near the town of Perkins in northeast Oklahoma whereas a second tornado touched near Ripley. Following Oklahoman Emergency Management officials, no injuries were reported in Oklahoma. Two more tornadoes hit Arkansas on Thursday injuring nine people. At least two were injured by lightning strike in Rogers. Following National Weather Service's Storm Prediction Center, tornado warnings were issued in parts of northern Oklahoma including oil hub Cushing which is home to over 65 million barrels of crude oil storage.
