Argentina floods 2013: 54 dead in La Plata and Buenos Aires


Argentina floods 2013 have claimed lives of 54 people by April 4, 2013. The flooding is the result of the extremely heavy rainfall from three days.

Argentina floods 2013 have killed at least 48 people in La Plata and six others in Buenos Aires till now.

Following Buenos Aires Mayor Mauricio Macri, about 350,000 people have been affected by the recent floods in Argentina.

The government in Argentina has declared three days of national mourning from Wednesday.

More than a quarter of a million people are without power in Buenos Aires by Wednesday.

It is believed to be the heaviest April rainfall in a century.
