• Massive earthquake in Santa Cruz Islands (Solomon Islands)
  -Magnitude 8.0 earthquake in Santa Cruz Islands (Solomon Islands) has triggered Tsunami disaster .
  -Following Solomon Islands Police Commissioner John Lansley, dozens of people are still missing.
  -Several houses reported to be flooded in eastern Temotu province of Solomon Islands.

• Avalanche in Himachal Pradesh, India
  -Seven people have died in an avalanche disaster in Kafnu village, Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh, India.
  -Avalanche also displaced people of six houses. Kinnaur district is experiencing continuous heavy snowfall from some days.
  -Relief and rescue operations are currently going on in Kafnu village of Bhaba valley.
  -Heavy to very heavy snowfall is forecast by Shimla Meteorological Centre during next 24 hours in the state. Snow avalanche in Uttarakhand, India killed 2 people three days ago.

• M 5.5 strong shallow earthquake in Southern Sumatra, Indonesia (@ 11 km depth) with epicenter located 28 km SW of Pasarbaru. Light shaking of MMI IV will have felt by the people of Padang, Solok and Pariaman. People of Sijunjung, Bukittinggi, Payakumbuh and Sungaipenuh, Lubuk Begalung and Singapore will have felt weak shaking of MMI III.

• M 4.9 moderate earthquake in Western Xizang (@ 35 km depth) with epicenter located 265 km E from Leh, Kashmir. Weak shaking will have felt as far as Hotan.

• M 3.6 light shallow earthquake in Greece (@ 5 km depth) with epicenter located 11 km NE Aíyion. Weak tremor will have felt as far  as Patrai.
  13:43 UTC (local time 15:43;  2013/02/06 @ epicenter) 
• M 8.0 massive earthquake in Santa Cruz Islands (@ 29 km depth) with epicenter located 81 km W of Lata. The Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre has issued a tsunami warning for the Solomons, Vanuatu, Nauru, Papua New Guinea, Tuvalu, New Caledonia, Kosrae, Fiji, Kiribati, Wallis and Futuna. • Lightning in Bajura, Nepal
  -Lightning has killed two in Bajura district of Nepal.
  -Lightning injured others two.
  -Thunderstorms and lightning in eastern Nepal killed six in May 2012.
  
• Landslide in Central Java, Indonesia
  -Landslide hazard in Central Java of Indonesia has killed one person.
  -Landslide occurred in Plompong village, Brebes, Central Java. Still 5 people are reported to be missing.
  -Rescue works are affected because of the heavy rain.
  -Landslide in western Indonesia killed 16 this January.
• Landslide in Phuket, Thailand has killed one and injured one other. Injured people are having treatment at Patong Hospital.
• Hailstorms have killed one and damaged crops in 80 villages of Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur of Madhya Pradesh, India.
• A landslide in Shulir village in Badakhshan province of Afghanistan has injured 20 people. Landslide has also destroyed 20 houses.
