Poland hailstorm damages 50 houses

Recent hailstorm in Poland's city of Radom has damaged more than fifty houses, Polskie Radio reported. Strong gale followed by huge hailstorm damaged houses, downed power lines and trees. Severe storm also hit Baltic coast of Pomeranian region. Firemen were busy to address 340 separate incidents of severe weather across Poland. Heat wave in Odisha, India claims 3

Intense heat has claimed lives of at least three people in Odisha, India based IBN reported. Met Office has recorded temperature over 46 degree Celsius in several parts of Odisha. Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Bolangir and Sundergarh districts are reported to be worst affected by recent heat wave. The hottest temperature (48 degree celsius) has been recorded in Churu in Rajasthan. The heat waves have also increased across UP, Delhi, Rajasthan and Punjab. This year temperatures are expected 3 to 4 degrees above normal in many parts of North India. Montana State Professor passed away in Nepal's landslide

Betsy Palmer, an associate professor of education at Montana State University, passed away in a landslide tragedy in Nepal, university officials announced through its website. Betsy Palmer was hit by landslide during trek to a remote village in the Arun River Valley. Palmer was leading a group of 16 students when disaster occurred. None of the students were injured in the landslide, Montana State University confirmed. Palmer who was statistics and research methods courses tutor was a gifted and award-winning teacher, researcher, and scholar, Montana State University has further added. In another news, floods have obstructed Kawasoti-Narayangarh road section of the Mahendra Highway of Nepal. Several children were pulled out of rubble alive at Plaza Towers Elementary School in Moore, Okla. -US President Obama has declared major disaster in Oklahoma after devastating tornado, AP reports.
