Magnitude 5.9 earthquake hits Bajura Nepal, tremor felt in Delhi

The earthquake has damaged one house in BadiMalika Municpality of Bajura district.

January 24, 2023: A strong earthquake of magnitude 5.9 has been recorded in Bajura district in Sudurpashchim Province of Nepal today at 2:43 pm local time.

According to the Nepal Seismological Center, the quake's epicenter was located south of Simikot.

The tremor was also felt in Delhi-NCR, India, parts of Rajasthan's capital city of Jaipur and Uttarakhand.

Today morning, an earthquake of ML 3.9 was recorded around Kareti of Rolpa district at 10:03 local time
