Flash floods in Abuja, Nigeria kill four

September 14, 2021: Recent flash floods in the Nigerian capital Abuja and Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have claimed lives of four people.

According to the FCT Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the illegal building construction and blocked drainage channels have worsen the flood situation in the city.
