4.9 magnitude earthquake rattles Taplejung, Nepal

 November 8, 2020: A moderate earthquake of magnitude 4.9 has been recorded in eastern Taplejung district of Nepal at 03:29 am.

According to the Nepal's National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center, the earthquake's epicenter was located inside Kanchajunga Conservation area near Olangchung Gola.

The epicenter is far from the residential area. No damage is expected.
