Siliguri earthquake 2020: M4.0 earthquake rattles North Bengal and Sikkim

April 26, 2020: Magnitude 4.0 light earthquake has been recorded in Sikkim at 10:59 am with most of the felt reports received from Siliguri, the Indian State of west Bengal.

The epicenter was located 26 km NE of Odlabar and 49 km far from Siliguri, India. The earthquake occurred at 10 km depth.

The epicenter was located near India-Bangladesh border region. The earthquake felt reports were received from Nagrakata, Siliguri and Kalchini areas. 

No preliminary or injuries have been reported from earthquake in Siiguri today.
