M3.2 earthquake in Coorg today — Epicenter near Arkalgud-K R Nagar

April 3, 2020: An earthquake of magnitude 3.2 has been recorded in Coorg, Karnataka at 05:20 pm local time.

The earthquake tremor which lasted for about three seconds had its epicenter near Arkalgud-K R Nagar, Karnataka, India.

According to the Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre, the tremor was felt in Mysuru, Mandya and Hassan district.

The people rushed out of their houses for safety in various areas of Kodagu district..

No major damage or injuries is expected from the earthquake due to its mild intensity.
