Strong storm in Vietnam kills 5, damages 6800 houses

March 5, 2020: Strong storm in Vietnam has claimed lives of five people and damaged around 6,800 houses.

Tornadoes, heavy rainfall and thunderstorms have been reported in northern Vietnam.

According to the the Vietnam Disaster Management Authority (VDMA), storm has affected Yen Bai, Ha Giang, Tuyen Quang, Lai Chau, Lao Cai, Cao Bang and Son La provinces of Vietnam.
