Floods in Iran kill 11 as country battle coronavirus crisis

March 24, 2020: Floods in Iran have killed at least 11 people at a time when the emergency services battle coronavirus in the country.

Fatalities have been reported in the Fars Province and Kangan in the coastal province of Bushehr. 

Heavy rainfalls created flash floods and swollen rivers in several Iranian provinces, including Fars, Bushehr, Hormozgan, Kerman and Sistan and Baluchestan in the southern parts of the country.
