November 24, 2019: Eight hundred houses have been inundated on Sunday afternoon, after the bund of Hulimavu lake off Bannerghatta Road breached, The Hindu reported.
Hulimavu lake water flooded houses at Krishna Layout, DLF Road, Saraswathipura, Avani Sringeri Nagar, Royal Residency Layout, and BTM Layout.
According to the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP), around 193 people have been evacuated to safety.
The BBMP and Fire and Emergency Services and Quick Response Teams are carrying out the relief work.
