Flooding in central Nigeria kills 10

October 17, 2019: At least 10 people have been died due to recent flooding in Nigeria caused by the persistent rainfall.

According to the Niger State Emergency Management Agency in Nigeria's central region, the deaths have been recorded over the past two months in Nigeria.

Three days ago, an 11 years old boy died after being swept away in the flood water in the Alimosho area of Lagos

The recent disaster has destroyed around 2700 houses and affected a total of 21.223 people in 20 local government areas, Xinhua reported.
