Magnitude 4.0 earthquake in Alwar, Rajasthan today

March 17, 2019: Magnitude 4.0 light earthquake has been recorded in Sikar district of Rajasthan, India at 05:11 am Sunday morning.

According to the India Meteorological department, earthquake of magnitude III have been felt in Sikar, Jhunjhunun, Namaul, Dausa and Alwar. 

The earthquake occurred at a shallow depth of 10km. 

We have dozens of felt reports from Alwar region of Rajsathan. 

No damage or injuries have been reported.
