Magnitude 4.6 earthquake felt in Anchorage, Alaska today

February 18, 2019: An earthquake of magnitude 4.6 has been recorded in Anchorage, Alaska today at 08:02 local time. According to the United States Geological center (USGS), the earthquake's epicenter was located just 20 km N of Anchorage.

The tremor was widely felt in Anchorage, Houston, Palmer, Eagle River, 

No preliminary damage or injuries have been reported from Anchorage earthquake.

Anchorage is the Alaska’s largest city in the south-central part of the state on the Cook Inlet.
