Severe weather in Bangladesh kills 10, injures 25 students

Severe weather in Bangladesh has claimed lives of 10 people and injured atleast 25 students.

Six people died when a trawler capsized in Dhaleshwari River in Naraynganj. In Narsinghdi, two sisters died when a wall collapsed on them during the storm. Two other people died in Moulvibazar.

At Sirajdikhan in Munshiganj, 25 students of grade 10 of Kajishal Hajigaon Humayun Molla High School were injured when the tin roof collapsed during class, bdnews24 reported.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS), the national news agency of Bangladesh, rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty is forecast to occur in Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong, Dhaka and Sylhet divisions and the region of Pabna.
