Medford earthquake today measured 4.4 in magnitude

Magnitude 4.4 light earthquake shakes Medford today, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake's epicenter was located 18 km SW of Medford. It was 3.9 miles deep.

A preliminary report first reported the magnitude as being 4.8 but that has since been revised to a magnitude of 4.4. 

Tremor was felt as far away as parts of southern Oklahoma and northern Kansas. 

No damage or injuries have been reported.
