Nepal earthquake aftershock today June 15, 2015

A massive earthquake of magnitude 7.9 rattled Nepal on April 25, 2015. The earthquake, which struck at 11:56 am on Saturday, has already claimed lives of more than 8,000 people, injured thousands and made millions homeless. Below are aftershocks of April 25 earthquake of magnitude 4 or greater as recorded by Nepal Seismological Center.

Magnitude 4.1 aftershock has been recorded in Sindhupalchowk at 03:52 pm.

The epicenter was located near Selang about 44 km NE of Kathmandu.

No aftershocks of magnitude four or greater have been recorded as of 05:30 am today.

Yesterday, two aftershocks of magnitude greater than four rattled Nepal. At least 315 aftershocks of magnitude 4 or greater have been recorded since April 25 major quake.

The earthquake has already claimed lives of at least 8,786 people. Sindhupalchowk has seen highest number of fatalities with 3,440 deaths followed by Kathmandu with 1,222 deaths.
