Nepal earthquake aftershock today May 24, 2015

A massive earthquake of magnitude 7.9 rattled Nepal on April 25, 2015. The earthquake, which struck at 11:56 am on Saturday, has already claimed lives of more than 8,000 people, injured thousands and made millions homeless.

Magnitude 4.3 aftershock hit Dolakha at 11:15 pm Sunday night. At least five aftershocks of magnitude greater than four hit Nepal on May 24, 2015.

At least four aftershocks have been recorded in Nepal as of 03:00 pm local time.

Magnitude 4.2 aftershock hit Dolakha at 07:06 am. Another, magnitude 4.4 aftershock rattled the same region at 10:38 am. An hour later, magnitude 4.2 aftershock was recorded in Sindhupalchowk.

The latest aftershock was recorded in Dolakha at 12:55 pm.

Yesterday, at least two aftershocks hit Nepal.
