Camera captures earthquake triggered landslide in Dhunche, Nepal

The latest earthquake in Nepal on May 12 has triggered a landslide in Dhunche in Rasuwa district of Nepal.

Video footage of the landslide was captured by James Shaw for the Canadian Red Cross. The Canadian Red Cross has setup a field hospital in the area.

Landslides triggered by the earthquake in Nepal had obstructed several roads including the Lamo Sanghu-Barahbise section of Araniko Highway and Trishuli-Dhunche section of Pasang Lhamu Highway on Tuesday.

At least 3,000 landslide disasters have been recorded in 14 different earthquake affected areas of Nepal. Six huge landslides have even blocked the river flow, The Annapurna Post has written quoting the preliminary study done by ICIMOD.
