Child pulled alive after 132 hours from earthquake rubble in Gongabu, Kathmandu

A 15-year-old boy has been pulled alive from the earthquake rubble in a Gongabu-based guest house after 132 hours. Pemba Lama, a resident of Nuwakot who was working in the same place has been rescued 132 hours after the earthquake on Saturday.

A rescue team comprising of Armed Police Force among others have been trying to rescue several others who are believed to be trapped under the earthquake rubble. At least three hotels have been destroyed in the same area.

Death toll from magnitude 7.8 earthquake in Nepal has already claimed lives of more than 5,400 people by Thursday morning, the National Emergency Operation Centre under the Home Ministry said.
