-Five skiers have been killed in two separate avalanches in the French Alps on Wednesday.

- M 4.5 moderate earthquake in Japan (@ 64 km depth) with epicenter located 59 km SSE of Ofunato. Weak shaking will have been felt by the people of Ishinomaki, Kamaishi and Yamoto.
19:04 UTC (local time: 04:04; 2015-04-03 @ epicenter) - M 3.5 light earthquake in Mexico (@ 8 km depth) with epicenter located 6 km NNW of Delta, B.C. It will have been well felt by the people of Mexicali, Delta, Guadalupe Victoria and Calexico.
18:50 UTC (local time: 11:50; 2015-04-02 @ epicenter) - M 3.7 light earthquake in California with epicenter located just 1 km N of San Ramon. Light to weak shaking will have been felt by the people of San Ramon, Danville, Dublin, Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill and Concord.
07:06 UTC (local time: 00:06; 2015-04-02 @ epicenter) - M 3.6 light earthquake in Missouri (@ 11 km depth) with epicenter located 4 km S of Steele, United States. It will have been well felt by the people of Hayti, Dyersburg, Gideon, Mason, Arlington and Memphis.
03:51 UTC (local time: 22:51; 2015-04-01 @ epicenter) - M 4.6 moderate earthquake in China (@ 63 km depth) with epicenter located 72 km NNE of Chongdui.
