Cotabato tornado in Philippines damages buildings

A powerful tornado in Cotabato, Philippines on Sunday afternoon has caused damage to infrastructure and houses.

The tornado collapsed the old grandstand inside the Mlang Pilot Elementary School (MPES) and mini covered court, GMA News Online reported.

At least four houses have been totally wrecked in Barangay Buayan.

Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC) has been instructed to assess the tornado damage so that the relief assistance could be provided.
