NOAA publishes 2014 Atlantic Hurricane Season Outlook

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has published the 2014 Atlantic Hurricane Season Outlook on March 22.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration predicts three to six hurricanes developing between June 1 and the end of November.

The Atlantic hurricane region includes the North Atlantic Ocean, Caribbean Sea and Gulf of Mexico.

Next week, May 25-31, is National Hurricane Preparedness Week. NOAA will be offering hurricane preparedness tips, along with video and audio public service announcements in both English and Spanish.
