Disaster Management Centre to conduct Tsunami drill in Sri Lanka

A tsunami drill will be conducted in coastal districts of Sri Lanka today, the Disaster Management Centre said.

Tsunami drill will cover 14 coastal districts of Sri Lanka at 3:00 p.m. local time, Daily Mirror has reported quoting the Disaster Management Centre.

Tsunami warning systems are used in tsunamis prediction and issuing advance warnings to prevent loss of life and damage.
