Landslide in Jombang, Indonesia buries 14

Landslide in Jombang, Indonesia has claimed lives of  at least 7 people, the Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) said as quoted by The Jakarta Post.

Landslide caused by torrential rainfall has buried at least 14 people. Indonesian Military (TNI) and search and rescue (SAR) personnel are involved in rescue operation.

Flash floods in Kudus district of Central Java have swept away seven houses and seriously damaged four others.

Indonesian Environment Ministry had declared an ecology disaster after flooding in Jakarta claimed lives of at least 11 people some days ago. According to the national disaster agency, natural disasters in Indonesia have claimed lives of 137 people this month.
