Sudan flooding kills 10

Recent flooding in Sudan has claimed lives of at least ten people, local medias reported.

People of Khartoum, Red Sea, Sinnar and North and South Darfur have been affected by floods.

Sudan flooding has also blocked road between Khartoum and the Red sea, Africa Review reported.

An emergency situation has been called by North Darfur local government.

Flooding in North Darfur state has left around 2,000 families homeless and flooded El Fasher hospital.

Sudan Meteorological Authority has predicted heavy rain till next week in all parts of the country.

The 2007 Sudan flooding had claimed lives of at least 64 people. Floods affected Sudan, including some areas in Darfur and Southern Sudan.
