Freetown, Sierra Leone landslide kills 6

Landslid in Freetown, the capital city of Sierra Leone has claimed lives of at least six people local medias reported.

Heavy rainfall caused landslide at King Jimmy along Wallace Johnson Street. All of them were homeless people sleeping under the bridge when landslide collapsed it.

President Koroma visited the landslide area in Freetown, Sierra Leon.

Sierra Leone Police, the RSLAF and the National Fire Force are engaged in rescue operations.

Landslide at Sierra Leone gold mine in 2010 had claimed lives of at least 200 people.

Sierra Leone is a country in West Africa bordered by Guinea, Liberia and the Atlantic Ocean.
